Product and Concept
Safepad TM is made of a soft material that provides protection and comfort. The superabsorbent material will, in combination with the permanently antimicrobial treatment, provide a comfortable and hygienic experience for women. The antimicrobial treatment makes Safepad self-disinfecting both during use and after washing, even if contaminated water is used to wash it. Safepad thereby helps to reduce the risk of vaginal infections by 99,9% If care instructions are followed and a woman has at least 4 pads at her disposal, Safepad has an estimated lifetime of approximately 4-5 years. The antimicrobial treatment on Safepad is permanent. It does not get consumed over time and it also does not release antimicrobial substances that potentially could harm the natural microbial fauna of the female vagina.

Safepad™ hygienic sanitary pads are designed with a permanently bonded antimicrobial technology that helps to reduce vaginal infections caused by Candida Albicans along with infections from other pathogens.
The antimicrobial technology is based on a treatment that leaves a positively charged layer on the fabric. This layer will attract and kill the negatively charged microbes, like bacteria and fungi. The treatment does not contain any harmful chemicals.
The permanently bonded antimicrobial fabric along with a highly absorbent material provides a comfortable and hygienic experience for the women.
